Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

The personal data controller is LOW VOLTAGE SRL, registered office at Str. Celulozei nr. 6, Constanța, 900155, Romania, VAT/CUI 30956021. For any request regarding your data, contact us at office@lowvoltage.ro.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data in two situations: (a) when you send us a message through the contact form, and (b) automatically, through traffic-analytics tools, while you browse the site.

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number (if provided), company (if applicable), and message content.
  • Technical data collected automatically: IP address (anonymized/partial where the tool allows), device and browser type, pages visited, visit duration, on-page interactions (cursor movement, clicks, scrolling) — via Microsoft Clarity, detailed in section 5 and in the Cookie Policy.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We use contact-form data to respond to your request and, where relevant, to prepare a commercial quote — legal basis: taking pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries received (art. 6(1)(f)).

We use technical browsing data to understand how the site is used and to improve it — legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner (art. 6(1)(a)).

4. How Long We Keep Data

Contact-form data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, if a collaboration results, for the duration of the contractual relationship plus the legal retention period for financial/accounting records. If the request doesn't lead anywhere, the data is deleted within 2 years of the last contact.

Data collected via Microsoft Clarity is retained per the provider's own retention policy (typically 1–13 months, depending on data type) — see the Cookie Policy for details.

5. Who We Share Data With

We don't sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary for the site's operation, under data-processing agreements:

  • The site's hosting and technical-infrastructure provider;
  • The email service provider, for delivering messages sent through the contact form;
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), for browsing-behaviour analytics — see the Cookie Policy.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — to find out what data we hold about you;
  • Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate data;
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • Right to restriction of processing;
  • Right to data portability;
  • Right to object to processing;
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures (encrypted transmission via HTTPS, restricted data access) to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or accidental disclosure.
